A refreshing transformation from water conservation to utility appreciation.

After a decade-long water conservation campaign, The City of Thornton sought a bridge campaign. Its aim: to pivot toward promoting water utility awareness, anticipating upcoming significant water projects.

  • “Cautious Conservatives.” High water users that take pride in their lawns and are typically motivated economically. They are resistant to being told what to do – especially by the government.

  • To transition the water conservation behavior change campaign into a utility awareness initiative, we crafted a bridge campaign. This campaign retained the core concept while adopting a technical tone and visual style, ensuring a smooth transition for the upcoming years.
